Categories Sellers Get Wrong

Device Accessories at 45% catches sellers listing Kindle/Echo add-ons off guard
Clothing jumps from 5% to 17% at the $20 mark. Price at $14.99? Only 5%
Beauty/Baby $10 cliff: $9.99 = $0.80 referral. $10.01 = $1.50
Electronics vs. Electronics Accessories are different categories. Phone case = 15%. Speaker = 8%
Pet veterinary diets = 22%. Regular pet = 15%. Easy to miss
Media has a hidden $1.80/unit closing fee on top of the 15%
Jewelry drops from 20% to 5% above $250. Massive cliff

Charged per unit shipped when both your 30-day AND 90-day historical days of supply are below 28 days.

How to Reduce Keep utilization ratio under 22 weeks. Send just-in-time inventory. Use AWD for overflow. Clear slow movers before October (storage jumps from $0.78 to $2.40/cu ft).

The 271-Day Cliff Fees jump from $1.50 to $5.45/cu ft at day 271. That's a 3.6x increase overnight. Set a removal alert at day 240.

How to Reduce Monitor inventory age weekly. Create removal orders or run deals before day 180. Liquidate before the 271-day cliff. Use "Manage Excess Inventory" in Seller Central.
