✅The Instant Value Section (IVS)✅
(aren’t you glad you opened the email now?)
Adding “bullet point sized” Content in your PDP Attributes
(Yes, Really)

A big thank you to Danny McMillan of Seller Sessions for supplying this week’s IVS. As far as I’m concerned, Danny is one of the smartest and hardest working people in the Amazon space. As usual, he has overdelivered.
You might have to watch this video a few times.
Inside, Danny explores what he calls “Catalog down, not keyword up.” In essence, he begins with catalog as a starting point for all ASINs, which leads to attributes and then finally, keywords.
Inside you’ll see the mind blowing way Danny has managed to “enrich” his back-end attributes and add in bullet point-sized copy into areas that you might have thought only fit one word. Rufus is absolutely in love with this, by the way.
It is simply wild.
Oh, and he also included the entire SOP for how to do this yourself.
Look at this PDP Attribute – It’s HUGE

We Need You To Tell 2 Friends… 💗
The last 2 weeks Max and I have been hard at work behind the scenes, refining Selling From the Beach into the go-to resource for Amazon sellers and entrepreneurs. We’re not just sending out another newsletter.
We’re building something packed with real value, deep insights, and actionable strategies to help you succeed. We have moved the newsletter to another platform which is going to let us do some very cool things.
To take things to the next level, we’re launching a referral program where you can earn rewards just by spreading the word. Plus, we’re pushing the envelope with deeper dives into critical topics…including some exclusive, gated content that will only be available to those who refer two people or upgrade to a premium subscription. So you can pay to see it or pay with spread the word to a couple people. And if you want to tell more people, we’ll give you more rewards! We’ve got kindle business books, free course access, coaching, heck, I’ll even buy you dinner in Costa Rica!
Creating high-quality content takes time, and growing this community allows us to keep delivering the best insights, strategies, and opportunities for you. It’s a flywheel, the more we grow, the more connections we make, and the more information and learnings we can share and curate for you.
Let’s build something incredible together!

Vary your promotion schedule so your buyers don’t get used to waiting for regular discounts. (Thanks @Tyler Wallis)

🔥 65% More Profit Per Unit—Without Tanking BSR

(FYI – This is one of our branded ASINs.)
And…
Here’s the proof: This ASIN became way more profitable using Profasee’s private label repricer and saw a 65% profit boost per unit, and kept BSR steady and demand strong.
Your pricing strategy is bleeding margin. Time to fix that.
The Deep Dive (Premium Content)
A Never-ending system that continually runs SBV Ads with VAs
IMPORTANT NOTE: Going forward, the content in this section will only be available to those who have referred two (2) people to the newsletter. Your unique referral link is below. |

If you haven’t referred two people, you will see something like this. |

…But for this newsletter, enjoy the free content!
Here we go:
We set up up a system to run Sponsored Brand Video (SBV) ads efficiently using VA’s only.
The goal? Less money-losing SB ads and constant A/B testing.
YMMV – but for us, we do NOT want any kind of SB ads that lose money. Since they don’t (directly) effect rank, keeping it below 30% ACOS is where we like to be.
Key Metric to Track: Click-Through Rate (CTR)
CTR matters most because conversions only happen once customers land on the detail page. Higher SBV CTR generally means more sales.
Step-by-Step System for SBV Ads
1. Create Your SBV Campaigns
Set up one exact-match SBV campaign per product
Use as many keywords as needed for each
2. Swap Creative After X Clicks
Once a campaign reaches a click threshold (e.g., 50 clicks), replace the creative
3. Track & Compare Performance
Use a tracking sheet to log CTR results from each creative test
Keep separate tabs for each
The sheet automatically calculates CTR (Column G) using the formula:
CTR (%) = (Clicks / Impressions) * 100
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1DL0jo-9jCsJ9XH3Ux1EuPXbsVEoSAFC7oJQDX1wUV9Q/copy
4. Check for Statistical Significance
Plug the data into a significance calculator to determine whether the test results are meaningful
Use Evan Miller’s Chi-Squared Test Calculator https://www.evanmiller.org/ab-testing/chi-squared.html
5. Keep the Winner & Repeat
Retain the better-performing creative and repeat steps 2-4
Getting Creative Content
Platforms like SocialCat, JoinBrands, and Levanta make it easy to generate high-quality, low-cost UGC content. In most cases, it’s just a monthly subscription + product sample cost.
What You Need
1. Video Editing
A video editor to create UGC mashups or something similar. Most entry-level Fiverr editors can do something like this.
Amazon Ads Library for inspiration for your creatives person https://library.advigator.com/

2. Organized Folder Structure (THIS IS OURS)
📁 SBV (Master Folder)
- 📂 SOPs & Guidelines
- 📂 PPC Tracking & Reports
- 📂 Weekly Reports
- SBV Tracking Sheet
- 📂 Creative Assets
- 📂 Untested Creatives
- 📂 Archived Creatives
3. Clear SOPs for Your Team
- Use ChatGPT to create SOPs tailored to your business
- Assign one VA to upload creatives, swap them, and manage the tracking sheet
- Another VA to produce new creatives
Monthly Review & Optimization
- Hold a monthly/bi-weekly meeting to analyze creative performance
- Brainstorm why top creatives performed well
- Use these insights to improve future content
2 ‘Can’t Miss’ Ways to Improve Your Product Inserts

We all want our customers to take some sort of action when they buy our product. It might be reviews, joining subscribe and save, signing up to our e-mail list, or something else.
Here’s two spicy ways to make your inserts irresistible: I.e. it doesn’t immediately end up in the trash.
1) Add in a handwritten note using a note-writing robot
Yes, these exist, and they are insanely cheap. I wrote about this in the Selling From the Beach Newsletter last year. You can buy one of these robots in China for $200, and have it spit out tons of handwritten notes (that look like someone actually wrote them). Then, add them to your package and your customer will feel incredibly special – and have an experience they’ve never had before on Amazon.
The key to these messages is brevity. Quick, 1-2 sentences thanking your customers and then sign your name. It’s also helpful if you can remind them of the mission they’re solving by using your brand.
Yes, a robot wrote this
2) Add true value, not just empty perks
Add in an insert that says for every X (subscriber, purchase, etc.) you’ll do X.
Put your money where your mouth is – and people will respect it.
For example: For every e-mail subscriber, we plant a tree. Or remove ocean waste. Or clean up garbage.
FYI: You can use certain websites to automate this, for example, planting a tree costs $0.35 and Plastic bottle removal costs $0.08.

How to 2-3X Your AMEX Points Instantly

My wife and I are heading to Montreal in June for F1.
As you might expect, Hotel prices are absolutely out of control. I’m talking $1K/night for an average 4-Star hotel that normally would be $200/night.
Here’s how to get smart with your AMEX points and maximize the coolest thing ever… i.e. ‘Transferring Points’
Ouch. $1059/night.
Navigate to Your Amex Rewards area. Click on ‘Transfer Points’ and then ‘View all’

Then, navigate to offers. Right now Hilton Honors has a transfer point reward of 2.5 Hilton Honors points for 1 AMEX point.
Pretty sweet deal!
Next, transfer the points. Here’s a room at The Vogue in Montreal that is 70,000 points per night with this promotion.
Remember, we transferred points at 2.5x. So this would have cost us 28,000 Amex points per night, which is around $280. This room right now (without the promotion) is going for $1,800/night.
But it only cost me $280/night.
Awesome.

I Found the Local Bitcoin Scene in Costa Rica
I think I just got initiated into our local Bitcoin club. It started when I was checking out a Bitcoin ATM at the local brewery and a guy named Mark asked if I wanted to learn more about Bitcoin.
I’ve dabbled in crypto before, so we ended up talking about a group of locals working to boost Bitcoin adoption. Since joining, I’ve learned you can even buy groceries like eggs, beef, and milk with Bitcoin. They also handle big transactions like real estate or car purchases directly from exchanges. It’s great to see both everyday people and businesses getting on board.
The catch is that this group is very technical, which is fine for enthusiasts but not for someone who just wants to buy a beer without decoding the blockchain. I suggested a simple QuickStart Guide: CR Colones, Bitcoin ATM, load wallet, and tap to pay. Merchants can even convert Bitcoin to USD immediately to avoid exchange risks, which could attract more businesses and users.
I’m still learning, but I’ve loaded some Bitcoin onto the Lightning Network and plan to use it at the brewery next time. Are you using Bitcoin in your day-to-day?
I used ChatGPT’s Operator As a Sourcing Agent (and it actually worked)

I’m in the research stage for a new product for Amazon…
So I used Operator to do it.
And it found a ton of manufacturers!
Then, it reached out to each one using a loose template that I supplied.
And added them all to a Google Sheet automatically.
Location, Contact, Company name, etc. When I get prices back I can just have it add them into the sheet.
And it all runs in the background with no input from me.
Operator is your new sourcing agent for ANY country.
Have you tried Operator yet?

- Tony asks about insurance verification
- Rob warns sellers about the new location of advertising invoices

When I started selling, Amazon fees were 1/3 of your total sales. Now they’re not.

There’s a reason Andy Jassy became CEO – he likes profits. And Amazon’s profits have never been higher. When I started selling on Amazon, there was a common saying about where the money for every Amazon seller went.
- 1/3 to Inventory
- 1/3 to Seller
- 1/3 to Amazon
It ain’t like that no more. And sellers are bearing more and more of the costs. Have a look at your numbers and make sure you’re staying within or near the P&L benchmarks. Things can get out of hand very quickly.
If you need a good profit Analytics tool, Sellerboard is the gold standard.
