✅The Instant Value Section (IVS)✅
(aren’t you glad you opened the email now?)

A big thank you to Tyler Wallis from TripleLine for supplying this week’s IVS. Tyler offers a unique approach that offers Amazon Management by looking at the “triple bottom line.” This being profit, people, and most importantly, the planet.
Map your Inventory to Maximize Conversion
Most sellers understand that faster delivery boosts conversions. Jeff Bezos famously said customers want “low prices, fast delivery, and vast selection.” Amazon’s data confirms this: Same-day delivery yields a +22% increase in conversion over 1-day delivery, and an +80% increase over 2-day delivery (TripleLine analysis of dozens of Consumables brands). However, managing around location-based delivery speeds has been challenging.
Here’s today’s hack: We’ve created a video tutorial for SFTB Newsletter readers (you) showing how to generate a real-time inventory distribution map for your products. This method helps avoid manually checking delivery speeds across various US ZIPS.
Actionable Steps to Improve Sales:
Optimize Ad Spend: Monitor when top-selling ASINs run low in specific regions to avoid wasting money on ads for products with delayed delivery. Adjust ad spending to save your budget and maintain a healthy ROAS.
Rethink Inventory Placement: Avoid Amazon’s Inventory Placement options if they delay distribution to depleted regions. Shipping directly to multiple locations can restore faster delivery times and improve sales.
Update FBM Shipping Templates: For sellers with multiple warehouses, adjust your FBM offers to ship from regions where Amazon stock is low. This can often reduce delivery times by 2+ days, temporarily boosting conversions.
Improved inventory transparency can drive more sales. Start by generating an inventory map of your top seller or low-stock ASIN and see what insights emerge!

And here’s the inventory mapping sheet you can download and use for free.

The best Zoom tool you haven’t heard of
|
I wanted to share something in this newsletter that we’ve started using for our online Zoom meetings that is incredibly useful. The tool is called Fathom and it will join your online meetings, take notes and summarize the meeting! It works on Zoom, Google Meet, Teams and more. We are using this for our client meetings and pretty much evreything else.
If you have regular online meetings you need to get this! Here is a screenshot from Jackson’s last chess coaching class as an example. The points are linked to where it happened in the video as well.
Major time saver!

The 1% Zone 👊 Actionable Amazon Tips
Have you read James Clear’s Atomic Habits? Little things add up.
Here’s something you can to TODAY to improve your business:
|
A totally free and simple CTR calculator:
|
We made a CTR (Click-Through Rate) calculator. You can have it for free!
Open the Google Sheet > File > Make a Copy and Save
The purpose of this is to show you the value in – what seems like – extremely small increases in traffic.
Let’s assume you have a product that you want to improve your main image on.
The product currently sells $30,000 per month.
It has a CTR of 2%.
You increase the CTR by 1%. That is a 50% increase in traffic!
That means – all other things remaining the same – your listing will go from making $30,000 per month to $45,000 per month!
What about a 2% increase? $60,000/mo
What about a 3% increase? $75,000/mo
At the end of the day, when 100 people view your listing, you’re just asking a couple more people to click on the listing. Seems simple, no? It is. How hard could it really be to get two more people to click?

Walk two blocks away to save big $$$

The most stereotypical “tourist’ photo I could find
|
Tourist prices for food go down significantly if you get off the beaten path. Take a small walk (a few blocks) away from a central tourist hub. Prices will drop off – I promise.
Also, if you notice a lot of locals in a restaurant – there’s a good chance that it’s excellent food.

Every Non-Stop Flight to a beach from Canada
|
Here is a very cool Google Sheet that Chris Miden at YYZ deals put together showing all the different beach locations you can go to this upcoming winter from different airports in Canada.
I thought it would save you some time trying to plan some beach vacation options. Non-stop flights which is even better, since no one likes connections, especially parents 🙂
