Google Pomelli Is Awesome: One Product Photo, a Pile of Listing Images

The short version

Amazon has its own AI image tool in Seller Central, but Pomelli's lifestyle shots are noticeably better.

What is Google Pomelli?

Okay, I know what you're thinking: I need another AI tool like I need a hole in my head.

I made a hundred social-media-ready images that required no editing in five minutes.

Pomelli is Google's new content engine. It scans your site, visuals, tone, even your fonts (they call it "Business DNA").

What does Photoshoot do with one product photo?

Pomelli got an upgrade.

It's called Photoshoot. You upload one photo of your product... even a garbage iPhone pic... and it spits out studio-quality lifestyle images, "in use" shots with AI models, floating product shots, ingredient layouts. All of it.

You can even paste your product URL and it pulls your listing info to generate shots that match your brand.

Where can Amazon sellers use Pomelli images?

Where you can use it:

  • Secondary images. Most sellers have weak slots 2-7. Fill them in minutes instead of spending $500+ on a photographer.
  • Ad creative. Need fresh images for Sponsored Brands or social? Generate a batch instead of recycling the same three photos.
  • New launches. Test your concept with AI images before investing in a real photoshoot.

As of October 13, 2026, Amazon describes Sponsored Brands as customizable ads that feature a brand logo, headline, video or lifestyle image, and multiple products.

Amazon's US product image guide recommends at least six additional images and one video on top of a compliant main image.

Those additional images cover angles, product in use, screenshots, accessories or product details.

Images that fail the requirements may be removed.

What does Amazon's US image guide require from images made with AI?

Only a limited number of product types may use a lifestyle image as the main image.

Every product image must accurately represent the product that you are selling.

An image with photorealistic AI-generated people must carry metadata that says so before it is uploaded.
